In collaboration with students, we have compiled an inventory of citizen science projects during Summer 2025. We now want to further enrich this valuable dataset to gain a clearer understanding of the number and types of citizen science projects being launched in Belgium.

That’s why we’d like to ask each project a few more questions in our survey. Will you fill it out too?

With the Citizen Science Scan, we map all projects that meet our definition of citizen science and have at least one Belgian partner in the organizing team. These can be projects in which Belgian citizens can participate, as well as projects targeting participants from abroad.

Curious about the results of the previous edition of the Citizen Science Scan? You can read all about it on this page.
