On 2 April 2026, Scivil launched its newest Citizen Science Scan report, which provides an overview of the Belgian citizen science landscape in 2025. The report addresses the following questions:
Which topics frequently appear in citizen science, and which themes are on the rise?
Who are the initiators, and who funds them?
How many partners are involved in a project, and what expertise do they contribute?
How many citizens participate, and how do they contribute to the research?
