Are you curious about citizen science and eager to develop your own project idea? During the Starting with Citizen Science workshop, you’ll shape your initial concept into a concrete project plan.
What can you expect?
Step-by-step brainstorming and development of your first concept for a citizen science project
An introduction to methods, target audiences, communication, and project management in citizen science
Exchanging ideas and gaining inspiration from fellow practitioners
Guidance from trainers at Scivil, the Flemish knowledge centre for Citizen Science
Who is this workshop for?
You are a researcher taking your first steps in citizen science
You have little practical experience with citizen science but want to explore the approach
Important: You should already have an initial idea for applying citizen science in your research. During the workshop, we will further develop this idea into a first project plan. Your idea may still be vague—we will refine it together during the workshop.
